The PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course trains certified divers to explore deeper underwater environments with confidence and control. This course develops your ability to manage gas supply, monitor narcosis, and apply proper dive planning techniques for dives beyond 30 meters, with a maximum training depth of 40 meters.
Over four open water dives, you’ll learn deep dive planning, buddy procedures, gas management strategies, and emergency protocols—all conducted under the supervision of a qualified PADI Instructor. This specialty opens access to deeper dive sites such as walls, wrecks, and underwater formations.
Prerequisites:
- PADI Adventure Diver (must have completed Deep Adventure Dive)
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Medically fit to dive
